The New York Jets officially signed OT Luke Marquardt to a contract on Wednesday.
Marquardt, 26, originally signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Azusa Pacific back in 2013. He unfortunately fractured his foot during his rookie season that led to him being placed on their injured reserve list.
This will Marquardt’s first opportunity with an NFL team since he was waived by the 49ers a month after the 2014 draft.
Marquardt has yet to appear in an NFL game.
