Jets Sign WR Myles White To Practice Squad, Waive S Ronald Martin

The New York Jets announced Thursday that they’ve signed WR Myles White to their practice squad and waived S Ronald Martin from the unit.

The Jets’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. G Craig Watts
  2. LB Freddie Bishop
  3. CB Bryson Keeton
  4. S Doug Middleton
  5. CB Dexter McDougle
  6. WR Myles White
  7. LB Victor Ochi
  8. RB Julian Howsare
  9. RB Brandon Wilds
  10. LB Julian Stanford

White, 26, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana Tech back in 2013. He spent a good amount of time on the Packers’ practice squad, but managed to make the 53-man roster last year.

However, White was unfortunately waived to make room for James Jones. He wasn’t out of a job for long, as the Giants signed him to their practice squad just a few days later.

The Giants brought White back on an exclusive rights deal back in April but he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason. The Jets later signed him to their practice squad at the start of the season only to waive him a few weeks later.

In 2015, White appeared in 12 games for the Giants and recorded seven receptions for 88 yards receiving and a touchdown.
