According to Howard Balzer, the Jets brought in six players for workouts including LBs B.J. Bello and Nigel Harris.

- LB Ahmad Thomas
- CB Jordan Brown
- CB Joshua Holsey
- CB Shakial Taylor
Bello, 24, originally signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois State back in 2017. He spent over a year in Cleveland before he was waived and later signed to the Cardinals’ practice squad last year.
Bello had a brief stint with the Eagles before signing on with the Texans this past July. Houston waived him with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.
The Texans elected to waive him with an injury settlement shortly after final roster cuts.
In 2018, Bello appeared in three games for the Eagles and recorded two tackles, no tackles for loss and no sacks.
Harris, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida in 2017. Los Angeles waived him a few months into the season and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Giants.
Harris had brief stints with the Buccaneers and Cardinals before signing on to the Titans’ practice squad in October of last year. Tennessee waived him with an injury designation back in August and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.
The Titans elected to waive him from injured reserve with a settlement. This is the first reported interest in him since becoming a free agent.
In 2017, Harris appeared in eight games and recorded 12 tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
