According to Aaron Wilson, the Jets worked out three players on Friday including DE Quinton Bell, OLB Ukeme Eligwe and OL Leo Koloamatangi.
Eligwe, 25, is a former fifth-round pick by the Chiefs in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Georgia Southern. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2.6 million rookie contract when Kansas City waived him.
He signed with the Giants’ practice squad in August of last year and was eventually promoted to their active roster, where he finished off the 2018 season.
After being cut by New York, Eligwe signed with the Titans this offseason and added to their practice squad. Tennessee cut him loose two weeks ago.
In 2018, Eligwe appeared in 10 games for the Giants and recorded seven total tackles, no sacks, and one pass defense.
