Update:
Mike Garafolo reports that Joe McKnight is just visiting with the Packers and will workout for the team.
We’ll have to see if he’s capable of impressing the coaching staff and securing a job with Green Bay this season.

McKnight just recently tweeted this out. We’re still waiting confirmation that the Packers are in fact signing him to a contract.
McKnight, 25, was released by the Jets earlier this week. It appears as though the Packers are looking for a replacement for DuJuan Harris who was lost for the season after he suffered a knee injury. McKnight also offers them a decent kick-return options, which is something they could use now that they’ve taken Randall Cobb out of that role.
This very well could be the end of James Starks‘ time with the Packers.
