Latest Titans & Patriots COVID-19 Tests All Come Back Negative

Multiple reports from Friday have said the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots both produced zero positive COVID-19 tests during Thursday’s round of tests.

This is obviously great news for the NFL, who opted to move the Broncos-Patriots game to Monday and the Titans-Bills game to Tuesday.

Tom Pelissero reports that contact tracing identified multiple Patriots players as close/high-risk contacts with CB Stephon Gilmore, who tested positive earlier in the week.

Pelissero adds that same happened with the Titans’ most recent positives.

According to Pelissero, more positive tests wouldn’t be a surprise. However, it also wouldn’t necessarily mean canceling games. The NFL plans to monitor the situation to see if changes are needed.

We’ll have more regarding COVID-19 testing and possible schedule changes as the news is available.
