Ian Rapoport reports that the Lions brought in free agent LB Andrew Gachkar for a visit on Wednesday.
Gachkar, 29, is a formerย seventh-round pick of theย Chargers back in 2011. He played out hisย four-year,ย $2,085,900 rookie contract with the Chargers before signing a two-year deal with the Cowboys back in March of 2015.
Gachkar finished out that contract and signed with the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent. However, Jacksonville waived him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit. The Panthers signed him to a contract in October of last year.
In 2017, Gachkarย appeared in six games for the Panthers and recorded four total tackles and no sacks.
