The Detroit Lions announced Tuesday that they’ve promoted WR Andy Jones to their active roster and placed WR T.J. Jones (shoulder) on injured reserve.
- The Lions also signed CB Adairius Barnes to their practice squad.

Jones, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Lions back in 2014. He’s currently in the final year of his contract and stands to make a base salary of $615,000 for the 2017 season.
Jones will be an unrestricted free agent in 2018.
In 2017, Jones appeared in 14 games and caught 30 passes for 399 yards receiving and one touchdown. He also totaled 105 kick return yards and 47 punt return yards.
