Lions Re-Sign ERFA RB George Winn

The Detroit Lions announced Friday that exclusive rights free agent RB George Winn has signed his one-year tender.

Winn, 25, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati back in 2013. He lasted just a few days with Houston before he was cut and later signed by the Patriots.

Since then, Winn has played for the Raiders, Steelers and Cowboys before the Lions signed him to a contract in July of 2014.

Last year, Winn was active for seven games and totaled four rushing attempts for just a single yard and no touchdowns.
