The drama surrounding Logan Mankins and the New England Patriots has carried on for over an entire year now. The Patriots franchised Mankins back in February so there’s a good chance that he remains with the team at least for the upcoming season.
One interesting note in regards to this situation was that Bill Belichick recently presented Logan Mankins during the NFL Networks list of the “Top 100 Players.” Obviously, Belichick is aware of his talent but this would indicate that their relationship isn’t as strained as it once was. Either the Patriots are serious about keeping him or they are trying to drum up some more interest in him in case they intend on trading him at some point.
If Mankins is available via trade there will certainly be plenty of interest in him.
