Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey says running back Maurice Jones-Drew won’t make his return this week as he has been ruled out for Week 11’s game against the Texans, per Gene Frenette.
This will mark the third straight game that Jones-Drew will miss since injuring his foot. On Thursday, Jones-Drew estimated that he was about two weeks away from returning. Rashad Jennings has replaced Jones-Drew since his injury and has performed poorly, averaging 3.3 yards per carry. The Jaguars need Jones-Drew on the field in a big way, as their offense has struggled mightily since he went down with an injury.
