Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Mississippi State DT Jeffery Simmons gave teams a look at his ACL via MRI for the first time at Combine rechecks and reviews of his knee were positive.
According to Rapoport, Simmons is scheduled to meet with the Dolphins and Cardinals.
Simmons is widely considered to be a first-round prospect and one of the best defensive linemen in the country. Some felt he could end up being a top-10 pick this year before he suffered a torn ACL.
During his three-year college career at Mississippi State, Simmons recorded 159 tackles, 30.5 tackles for a loss, six sacks, five forced fumbles, two recoveries, one defensive touchdown and seven pass defenses over the course of 37 games.
