Steve Doerschuk believes Browns rookie RB Trent Richardson will only get “about 10 carries” in this weekend’s game, and admits that there’s “still is a chance he won’t play at all.”
Interestingly enough, Richardson reportedly looked “quick and fast” during today’s practice, so there’s at least some optimism that he will be able to suit up on Sunday. His knee has caused him to miss some time and is real a concern for the team. It seems likely that the Browns would want to ease Richardson into the season, before relying on him to shoulder their workload.
