NFC North Rumors: Bears, Lions, Packers, Vikings

Bears

• Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer says the Bears believe TE Trey Burton has had some bad injury luck the past few seasons and could bounce back in 2020.
• According to ESPN’s Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler, Redskins QB Case Keenum is viewed as a baseline veteran quarterback acquisition for the Bears, as is Bengals QB Andy Dalton and even Titans QB Ryan Tannehill if he suddenly becomes available. 
• The Bears were among the most interested teams in FIU QB James Morgan at the Combine. (Eric Edholm)

Lions

An NFL GM tells Mike Sando of The Athletic that he expects the Lions to trade their No. 3 overall pick. 

“I think Detroit is going to trade the pick,” the GM said. “Put Tua in there, but they will trade the pick. Someone else will take Tua.”

• According to ESPN’s Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler, the Lions are expected to be interested in Cowboys free-agent CB Byron Jones, along with the Eagles and Broncos. 
• Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer says Lions G Graham Glasgow is expected to make more than $10 million per year on the open market.
• Lions QB Matthew Stafford‘s wife said on Instagram they were told by doctors in early January that his back was “completely healed.” (Kyle Meinke)
