49ers
- Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee suggests Sammy Watkins as a free agent receiver who could make sense for the 49ers to target this offseason.
- Barrows could also see Colts WR Donte Moncrief making sense for San Francisco.
- As for positions he could see the 49ers prioritizing in free agency, Barrows lists pass rusher, cornerback and interior offensive line.
- Barrows thinks the 49ers are more likely to allow RB Carlos Hyde to walk in free agency than bring him back for the 2018 season.

Eagles
Nick Foles said Tuesday that he’s “grateful” to be part of theย Eagles’ย organization and his future will be sorted at a later time.
โAbsolutely. Iโm grateful to be here, to be part of this organization,โ Foles said, via Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk. โI canโt wait to play the game. After the game, thatโs where you have time to sort of reflect on the year, and thatโs what weโll do. Iโll spend time with my family and use that family time. The future will take care of itself. Iโm grateful to have signed a two-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles and be here. Iโm excited to watch Carson get healthy and get back on his feet and hopefully being part of him getting back to where he was.โ
There has been recent speculation about the Eagles making Foles available for trade during the offseason, seeing as he’ll be in the final year of his contract and this would allow Philadelphia to recoup some draft value for him.
Foles said he’ll worry about possibly being traded when the time comes.
โYou know what? Weโll worry about that if that time comes,โ Foles said. โIโm just grateful to be in this position and be with this team.โ
