NFC Notes: Nick Bosa, Sean McVay, 49ers, Rams, Seahawks

49ers

49ers DE Nick Bosa was upset with himself after the loss on Monday night to the Vikings, feeling he could have personally done more to disrupt the offense.

“I’m not sure how it went for the other three guys. I can only focus on myself and there was definitely a couple opportunities there where I could have changed the game. I need to do that with the kind of player I’m supposed to be,” Bosa said, via David Lombardi of TheAthletic.com. “As good as we think we are, every single week it’s the NFL. And if one guy is off, then they’re going to make a play. Kirk Cousins is a really good quarterback. He was making some really good checks against our looks.” 

Rams

• Rams HC Sean McVay says the team is going to “evaluate the landscape” at kicker and that he has met with special teams coaches on K Brett Maher. McVay adds that working out kickers is a possibility but the team is currently evaluating the situation. (Jourdan Rodrigue)

Seahawks

• Seahawks HC Pete Carroll on WR D.K. Metcalf, who missed Sunday with a hip injury: “We’ll see how it goes.” (Michael-Shawn Dugar)
• Carroll added that LB Uchenna Nwosu could be out against the Browns due to a strained pectoral. (Bob Condotta)
