Cardinals
Since back-to-back 100-yard receiving games to start the season, Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald has cooled off considerably. However, he’s not putting any pressure on first-round rookie QB Kyler Murray to get the ball to him more.
โThey come, they come, and I catch it,โ Fitzgerald said via Darren Urban of the teamโs official website. โThey donโt, they donโt. Keep it moving. I donโt really lose any sleep over anything. Like I told you earlier, I work hard to keep an even keel. The plays that come my way, I need to make.โ

49ers
49ers’ first-round DE Nick Bosa said he has no resentment towards the Cardinals for drafting QB Kyler Murray ahead of him.
“They needed a quarterback, so they picked a quarterback,” said Bosa, via Matt Barrows of The Athletic.
Bosa said the Cardinals were selling him on playing in the two-point stance during his pre-draft visit.
โThey definitely were selling me on the two-point stance,โ Bosa said.
Bosa said he was “buying into” playing the two-point stance in Arizona’s defense, but feels that the 49ers’ system will allow him to reach his full potential.
โI was buying into it,โ said Bosa. โThereโs good things that you can do with it, and Iโm sure I would have gotten into it in time. But I think for my full potential to be reached, I think Iโm in the right place, in the right defense.โ
Rams
- Ian Rapoport mentions that the Rams traded veteran CB Aqib Talib and a 2020 fifth-round pick to the Dolphins as a “salary dump” and acquired $4 million in available cap space and a 2022 seventh-round pick in the process.
- Rapoport notes that the cap space made available by Talib’s trade will likely go toward a long-term extension for Jalen Ramsey.
- Rapoport also says that Talib is “unlikely to ever play for the Dolphins” and may not report to the team, which is not of Miami’s concern.
Seahawks
