NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reports that executives around the NFL would be “much more surprised by” Peyton Manning returning to the Colts next season than playing for a new team.
Yesterday’s interview shed some light on the transition that the Colts are going through and how it’s impacting Manning specifically. Front office officials see the Cardinals and Seahawks as two teams that could have serious interest in Manning assuming he’s healthy by the time free agency rolls around.
Other speculative options that have been thrown out there are the Redskins, Dolphins and possibly the Jets.
