Jason La Canfora is reporting that the Cleveland Browns have informed DT Shaun Rogers that they will be to releasing him. Rogers was set to make $5.5 million which included a $500 thousand bonus.
Rogers, 31, has delt with some off-the-field problems in recent years which is likely to have factored in to the teams decision.
Zac Jackson of FOX Sports Ohio is also reporting that the Browns have also released RT John St. Clair, LB Eric Barton, TE Robert Royal, and LB David Bowens which will give them an $13.84 million to address roster holes.
