The Houston Texans have been the most active team today. They’ve already re-signed TE Owen Daniels and have now reached an agreement with RB Derrick Ward.
John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports that the deal is a one-year contract. So far there are no details on the salary.
McClain also points out that Ward had a 6.3 yard-per-carrier average for the Texans last season which is an amazing stat. Very few No. 2 running backs can say that.
