NFL Notes: Bears, Patriots, Seahwaks, Steelers

Bears

  • Bears LB John Timu suffered a high-ankle sprain during Monday night’s loss to the Vikings and is expected to miss 2-4 weeks. (Ian Rapoport)

Patriots

  • Ian Rapoport reports that Patriots QB Tom Brady suffered what is believed to be an AC joint sprain in his left, non-throwing shoulder.
  • According to Rapoport, Brady has dealt with this injury before and been able to play through it, so the expectation is that he’ll play in Week 6’s game.

Seahawks

Steelers

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger mentioned during an appearance on 93.7 The Fan on Tuesday morning that he has “not at all” lost confidence in himself.

“Bad day at the office. You get frustrated, you feel like you let your teammates down,” Roethlisberger said, via Pro Football Talk.

Roethlisberger added this was “not the worst game I’ve ever played” and he still believes he’s “one of the best in the world” at playing quarterback.

“I’m a gunfighter. I got in a gunfight and I lost,” Roethlisberger said.
