NFL Notes: Bills, Cowboys, Jets, Redskins & Vikings

Bills

• The Bills have RB LeSean McCoy officially listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Patriots. (Mike Rodak)
• The Bills officially ruled out S Aaron Williams and WR Marquise Goodwin for Week 8. (Mike Rodak)

Cowboys

• According to Charean Williams, the Cowboys had interest in veteran QB Chase Daniel as a backup quarterback during the offseason,  but the Eagles ultimately made him the NFL’s highest-paid backup quarterback.

Jets

• The Jets officially ruled out rookie LB Darron Lee (ankle) and LB Bruce Carter (quad).
• The Jets have C Nick Mangold, CB Buster Skrine and TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game.

Redskins

• Jason Cole reports that the Redskins are expected to have both TE Jordan Reed and CB Josh Norman for Sunday’s game against the Bengals.
• Cole says that the team’s coaches are concerned about Reed’s concussions and plan to be careful with him moving forward.

Vikings

• Vikings WR Jarius Wright said he hasn’t heard his name mentioned in any trade rumors and doesn’t want to be traded. (Chris Tomasson)
