NFL Notes: Bills, Dolphins, Packers, & Redskins

Bills

Mike Rodak of ESPN takes another shot at projecting the team’s 53-man roster. Here are some notable players not projected to make the team:

• Rodak expects the Bills to either cut or trade RB Bryce Brown.
• Matt Simms is likely to be the odd man out at quarterback.
• Another trade candidate, according to Rodak, could be WR Deonte Thompson.
  Rodak doesn’t have DT Andre Fluellen, DE Quentin Groves, or LB Michael Buchanan making the team.

Dolphins

• James Walker wonders if the Dolphins could match up with the Packers in a potential trade including WR Rishard Matthews.
• Walker mentions that Miami could use some help at safety, guard and linebacker if the Packers happen to be interested.

Packers

• Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal reports that the Packers did not show heavy interest in free agent WR Reggie Wayne.
• Silverstein suggests that former Packers like James Jones and Jarrett Boykin could possibly be on their radar if they’re cut loose in the coming weeks.

Redskins

• According to ESPN’s John Keim,  the “feeling” is that the NFL will announce whether or not they’ll be handing down a suspension for Redskins OLB Junior Galette at some point this week.
