Bills

• Bills HC Rex Ryan says LB Ty Powell has a possible ACL tear, which would end his season. (Mike Rodak)

Giants

• Giants OL Geoff Schwartz will practice Monday and should be an option for the team at RT. (Art Stapleton)

Packers

Packers RT Bryan Bulaga may be moved to LT to replace the injured David Bakhtiari, who is dealing with “knee soreness.”

“I know Bryan Bulaga can play left tackle,” coach Mike McCarthy said in an interview with Rob Demovsky. “That’s something that we practice all the time. This is an opportunity for players to increase their value.”

Redskins

Redskins GM Scot McCloughan said he liked QB Robert Griffin III‘s performance “a lot” during their first preseason game.

“Liked it a lot. Liked it a lot. I see improvement. Liked it a lot. I see confidence. I see ball out on time. I see a good football player.” McCloughan said, via Howard Fendrich of the Associated Press. “Offensively, the second year with Jay’s system, the quarterbacks are getting better. The whole package is going the right direction.”

Texans
