NFL Notes: Browns, Colts, Giants, Packers, Panthers

Browns

• Browns promoted DT Jacobbi McDaniel to the active roster and waived TE Gerell Robinson.

Colts

• Mike Wells of ESPN writes that “the expectation is that Jonotthan Harrison will be the Colts’ starting center for years to come.”

Giants

• CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie traveled with the team to to Dallas and appears likely to play in Week 7, barring a setback. (Kimberly Jones)

Packers

• The Packers are hopeful CB Tramon Williams (questionable, ankle) will be able to play Week 7. (Weston Hodkiewicz)

Panthers

• The Panthers ruled RB DeAngelo Williams, RB Fozzy Whittaker, LB Chase Blackburn, G Amini Silatolu, and CB Bene Benwikere have all been ruled out for Week 7.
• Rookie WR Kelvin Benjamin has one more concussuon protocol test to pass to be cleared. (David Newton)
