Browns

  • Ian Rapoport reports that former Browns first-round OLB Barkevious Mingo is feared to have torn his meniscus.
  • According to Rapoport, Mingo will need a surgery clean up and the hope right now is that he’ll be out just a month.

Buccaneers

  • Josina Anderson reports that Buccaneers OLB Lavonte David is expected to keep a close eye on the contract figures of DeAndre Levy‘s new deal with the Lions.
  • A source tells Anderson that the Bucs and David are “still not close on extension talks.

Cardinals

  • Cardinals WR Michael Floyd posted a picture of his injured hand following surgery Thursday morning.
  • David Chao mentions that Floyd likely has both broken and dislocated fingers and should end up missing more than the reported 3-6 weeks, as this sounds “optimistic” to him.
  • Instead, Chao seems to think Floyd will need 6-8 weeks before he’s recovered.

Jaguars

  • Jaguars former second-round pick WR Marqise Lee strained his hamstring and will be out the next two weeks. (Adam Schefter)

  • Jets GM Mike Maccagnan mentioned during a radio interview that: “Going forward with Sheldon (Richardson), he’s in our plans.” (Kimberly A. Martin)
