Cardinals

• Cardinals HC Bruce Arians said DB Tyrann Mathieu (shoulder) is doubtful for Week 10 but expects his return to be “sooner than we thought.” (SiriusXM NFL Radio)

Falcons

• Ian Rapoport reports that after seeking a second opinion on his shoulder, Falcons CB Desmond Trufant is considered day-to-day, which is obviously good news all around.

Giants

Giants WR Victor Cruz said his ankle injury is “not bad” and there is a chance he could play in Monday night’s game against the Bengals.

“We’ll take it day-by-day,” Cruz said, via Tom Rock of Newsday. “We’ll see how it feels [at practice on Wednesday], we’ll see how it feels the day after that. I’ll listen to the training staff. But we’ll see. The doctors are optimistic, so we’ll take it from there.”

Lions
