Chiefs

Chiefs HC Andy Reid confirmed that they aren’t interested in signing veteran G Evan Mathis to a contract.

“We’re not,” Reid responded when asked about the possibility, via Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star.

Cowboys

  • Cowboys franchise WR Dez Bryant attended Thursday’s practice, but did not work out with the team, due to the fact that he’s yet to sign his franchise tender. (Desmond Purnell)
  • Undrafted rookie La’el Collins was working with the first-team offense on Thursday at left guard. (Todd Archer)
  • Cowboys WR Terrance Williams underwent x-rays on his elbow Thursday. The team said that it could be just an irritated nerve. (Charean Williams)

Giants

  • According to Giants HC Tom Coughlin, the expectation right now is that WR Victor Cruz will not have to open the season the PUP list. (Paul Schwartz)
