- Michael DiRocco of ESPN expects the Jaguarsย to add veteran players to their offensive line through free agency.
- DiRocco expects WR Cecil Shorts‘ contract demands will lead to him entering the free agent market.
- DiRocco has “been told” the Jaguars “will not rule out”ย drafting WR Amari Cooper with their first-round pick if they feel he’s a legitimate No. 1 receiver.
- DiRocco believes the Jaguars will pursue a right tackle through free agency.
Lions
- Michael Rothstein of ESPN is “not convinced” that the Lions retain C Dominic Raiola after this season.
Packers
- Rob Demovsky of ESPN mentions Packers personnel membersย Eliot Wolf, Alonzo Highsmith and Brian Gutekunst as being possible GM candidates for other teams this offseason.
Vikings
- Ben Goessling of ESPN believes the Vikings will pursue a “No. 1 receiver” and look to fortify their offensive line at guard and tackle this offseason.
- Goessling writes that it is likelyย that RB Adrian Peterson will not accept a pay cut from the Vikings, which could lead to his release from the team.
- Goessling believes WR Greg Jennings is a candidate to be released due to his $11 million cap hit and that the Vikings would save $9 million by releasing him after June 1.
- Goessling envisions LB Chad Greenwayย accepting a pay cut to stay in Minnesota given that he will count $8.8 million against the cap in 2015.
