• Jordan Raanan reports that although the Giants were rumored to have interest in free agent centers Evan Dietrich-Smith and Brian De La Puente, they appear to be unlikely options for them.
• Raanan also mentions that free-agent OL Kevin Boothe is being viewed as the possible short-term solution.
• Tom Pelissero of USA Today reports that Giants P Steve Weatherford accepted a pay cut of $950,000.

Panthers

• Joe Person reports that free agent G Travelle Wharton is considering retirement.

Redskins

• Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that Seahawks S Chris Maragos could be a possibility for the Redskins.

• Tom Pelissero reports that the Ravens have tendered offers to: Omar Brown, D.J. Bryant, Josh Bynes, Adrian Hamilton, Anthony Levine and Brynden Trawick.
