Jason Pierre-Paul

• Ian Rapoport reports that there is a “real chance” Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul will suit up in Week 9’s game.
• According to Rapoport, the Giants are open to having Pierre-Paul make his season debut next week.
• JPP has reportedly impressed the team with his conditioning.

Colts

• Pro Football Talk reports that the NFL will look into the report that Colts QB Andrew Luck has been dealing with fractured ribs, despite not being on the injury report for this issue.
• According to Jason La Canfora, the possibility exists that the Colts could be fined or lose a draft pick, depending on what the league finds.

Dolphins

• Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald writes that Dolphins will need to make a decision regarding their backup running backs, as rookie Jay Ajayi is set to be activated off of the short-term injured reserve list.
• According to Jackson, activating Ajayi could force the team to move on from either RB Jonas Gray or WR Damien Williams.

Lions

• Lions HC Jim Caldwell told reporters after an embarrassing loss to the Chiefs that he “fully anticipate[s] being able to continue to do my job.” (Pro Football Talk)
