NFL Notes: John Harbaugh, Reggie McKenzie, Kliff Kingsbury

John Harbaugh

  • Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that the Packers and Browns will want to speak with Ravens HC John Harbaugh about their vacancies should he be able after the season.
  • According to Florio, there will undoubtedly be other teams interested in Harbaugh in the coming weeks along with some other possibilities that could only be open if Harbaugh were to be the team’s next head coach.
  • Florio mentions that the level of interest in Harbaugh raises the question of whether a team would contact the Ravens and initiate trade negotiations for the head coach.

Reggie McKenzie

  • Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the NFL’s Career Development Advisory Panel has endorsed former Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie as a top candidate for any general manager opening that comes up in the weeks ahead.
  • According to Schefter, the panel immediately added McKenzie’s name to their list of recommended hires after he was fired by the Raiders last week.

Kliff Kingsbury

  • Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reported Sunday that NFL teams are looking at Kliff Kingsbury’s contract with USC to see if they can hire him before he even starts there.
