• The NFL Players Association issued a new motion on Tom Brady‘s behalf Friday in which they referred to Roger Goodell’s ruling as a “smear campaign” and a “propaganda piece.

Bears

• ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Bears WR Alshon Jeffery is expected to miss about one week with his mild calf strain.

Cowboys

• Todd Archer reports that the Cowboys will take a look at some available running backs, but not the speculative options that come up in recent months.

Jets

• Dom Cosentino of NJ.com reports that the Jets got some good news as an MRI revealed that ILB Erin Henderson will miss just one week with a grade-2 knee sprain.
