Broncos

Mike Klis of 9 Newsย told Vikings free agent QB Case Keenum that he’s come up as a potential target for the Broncos this offseason.

โ€œIโ€™ve come up? Who knows, man? Iโ€™m not really experienced at this free agent thing,” Keenum responded. “I was before (last year) but the phone wasnโ€™t ringing so if the phone rings a little bit more, itโ€™d be nice.โ€™โ€™

Keenum credited former Broncos HC Gary Kubiak for giving him a shot with the Texansย s an undrafted rookie out of Houston.

โ€œHe gave me a shot. No one in the NFL called after the draft besides the Texans. That was coach Kubiak,” Keenum said. “The amount of football I learned those first two years I canโ€™t even put into words how much heโ€™s meant to me in my career.โ€™โ€™

Vikings

  • Alex Marvez reports that George Edwards will return as the Vikings’ defensive coordinator for the 2018 season.
