NFL Rumors: Dontari Poe, Chase Daniel, Ravens, Seahawks

NFL executives have told Jason La Canfora that the Buccaneers could be a team to watch for Falcons free agent DT Dontari Poe.
La Canfora adds that the Redskins, Colts and Broncos could also be in the mix for Poe.

Jason La Canfora anticipates a bidding war between the Bears and Chiefs for Saints free agent QB Chase Daniel in the coming weeks.
According to La Canfora, the Saints would like to keep him, but it could be difficult for them to match the kind of offers he may get from other teams.

Jason La Canfora says that he’s becoming more and more convinced that the Ravens may invest a high pick on a quarterback this year.
La Canfora fully expects the Ravens to move on from QB Joe Flacco next year and he continues to hear that Baltimore could use a top pick on a quarterback if the right player is available to them.
According to La Canfora, the most likely scenario is that the Ravens will take a receiver at No. 16 overall.

Jason La Canfora expects the Seahawks to trade two of S Earl Thomas, DE Michael Bennett and CB Richard Sherman.
According to La Canfora, the Seahawks likely won’t get much in return for Bennett. Even so, La Canfora expects Seattle to take a draft pick Bennett and look to sign a veteran free agent such as Muhammad Wilkerson.
If Seattle were to deal Thomas, La Canfora thinks they could get a Day-two pick for him. La Canfora adds: “At this point, I’d be quite surprised if Thomas was not moved.“
As for Sherman, La Canfora writes that getting anything for him at this point “may prove impossible.”
