Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times writes that the Baltimore Ravens will focus on retaining defensive tackle Haloti Ngata and punter Sam Koch before they address some of the other players that will be free agents.
โWeโre going to try to keep as many of our guys as we can,โ Ravens director of player personnel Eric DeCosta said Wednesday.
Ngata is in a position to command as much as $70 to $75 million which could include over $40 million guaranteed. That kind of money would even exceed the deal that the Detroit Lions gave Ndamukong Suh last year. To make things worse, there will be several teams interested in him which could raise the price of the contract depending on what his priorities are.
