Here’s a look at some of the days Kevin Kolb rumors.
Seattle Seahawks
Pro Football Talks Gregg Rosenthal did a great job of laying out some of the reason why trading for Kevin Kolb would make sense for the Seattle Seahawks. His three main points are that the Seahawks run an offensive scheme that would fit Kolb well, their need for a quarterback has increased and because Pete Carroll is willing to role the dice when it comes to personnel moves.
It’s worth noting that the Seahawks should interest in Kolb last season and ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio reported that the team had been calling the Eagles “non-stop.”
Seattle should be considered a strong option for Kevin Kolb and the Eagles but the real question is whether or not they’re willing to give up what it would take to a get a deal done.
Arizona Cardinals
Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic takes a look a look at some of the trade targets that the Cardinals could consider. Somers points out that the Eagles have all of the leverage in negotiations which doesn’t bode well for teams like Arizona. Parting with a package of draft picks in return for Kolb may not be the best idea for them considering that they need help at a number of positions.
Arizona should play this one safe and focus on building a better nucleus before they commit to a unproven quarterback.
