It’s being reported that Chris Kemoeatu mentioned that the Steelers will be without Maurkice Pouncey for the Super Bowl.
“We are definitely sad that he won’t be able to be with us in the Super Bowl,” said Kemoeatu after practice Wednesday via the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “Definitely I feel bad for him. We just have to win it for him.”
If Pouncey ends up being unable to go, it would be another blow to an already ailing offensive line. Doug Legursky filled in for Pouncey at center during Sunday’s game but he is a definite down-grade in comparison to Pouncey.
