Izzy Gould of the Sun-Sentinel reports the Lions DT Nick Fairley “was arrested in Mobile at 12:30 p.m. on 2nd degree marijuana possession.”
This comes just days after RB Mikel LeShoure was arrested for marijuana possession as well. Considering that this will be Fairley’s first offense, he’s not going to be subject to the same kind of punishment as LeShoure. The Lions have to be concerned about their first-two draft picks from last season at this point. Both players have dealt with injuries and off-the-field issues.
