NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora reports that Ohio State OT Mike Adams wound up testing positive for marijuana at this year’s NFL Combine.
La Canfora adds that Adams has been “upfront” with the NFL teams that he’s spoken with, and has already completed a counseling program.
It’s definitely smart for him to proactively address this concern, but he already had a number of questions heading into the Combine. He looked great at the Senoir Bowl, for the most part, and possess great size for the position, but he’s by no means a polished offensive tackle. Some felt that he could end up being taken in the later portion of the first-round, but it there’s probably a good chance they’ll end up going in the early portion of round-two.
