Packers Flew Washington State S Jalen Thompson To Their Facility For Visit

According to Tony Pauline, the Packers flew Washington State S Jalen Thompson to their facility for interviews and medical checks ahead of Wednesday’s supplemental draft.

The Packers were one of 26 teams in attendance for Thompson’s pro day in Los Angeles yesterday.

Pauline says scouts gave Thompson a fourth-round grade headed into the 2019 college football season. Thompson is seen as a lock to be taken in the supplemental draft, perhaps as high as the second or third round

Thompson, 5-10 and 186 pounds, ran the 40-yard dash in 4.47 and 4.56 seconds. He also hit 33.5 inches in the vertical jump, 10-feet-4-inches in the broad jump and completed 11 reps on the bench press.

Thompson played three seasons at Washington State. In total, he recorded 190 tackles, six interceptions, 17 pass defenses, two forced fumbles and five recoveries over the course of 39 games.
