Packers Officially Sign 10 Players To Practice Squad

The Green Bay Packers announced Sunday that they’ve officially signed 10 players to their practice squad.

The full list includes:

1. TE Evan Baylis
2. RB Tra Carson
3. CB Kabion Ento
4. WR Allen Lazard
5. DL James Looney
6. T Yosh Nijman
7. LB Randy Ramsey
8. LB Brady Sheldon
9. WR Malik Taylor
10. QB Manny Wilkins

Carson, 26, originally signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M back in 2016. After being waived and signed to their practice squad, Carson was eventually promoted to the Bengals’ active roster.

Carson was in the final year of a three-year, $1.47 million contract and set to make a base salary of $630,000 in 2018 when he was waived with an injury designation. The Bengals later cut Carson loose with an injury settlement and he eventually signed on to the Packers’ practice squad.

The Packers signed Carson to the active roster in October, where he spent the rest of the season. Green Bay elected to waive Carson coming out of the preseason this year. 

In 2018, Carson appeared in two games for the Bengals and four games for the Packers but did not register any statistics.
