The Green Bay Packers announced the release of C Jeff Saturday on Monday.
Several reports have already indicated that Saturday will likely sign a one-day contract with the Colts, so he can retire with the organization that he spent the majority his NFL career with.
Saturday, 37, played 14 seasons in the league and was a six-time Pro Bowler.
For Green Bay, this move will free up an additional $3.75 million in cap space.
