The Green Bay Packers have signed free agent FBย Ina Liaina to a two-year contract, according to his agentย Angelo Wright.
Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reported earlier in the day that the Packers brought in Jonathan Amosa for a workout Monday.
It appears as though the Packers are looking for some additional depth at the fullback position, even though John Kuhn is coming off of a very good season.
Kuhn will be an unrestricted free agent, so this could an attempt by the Packers to ensure that they have a plan B in the event that Kuhn signs elsewhere.
Liaina, 24, went undrafted out ofย San Jose State and had spent time with the Miami Dolphins before being released.
