The Green Bay Packers announced Monday that they’ve signed FBย Joe Kerridgeย to their practice squad and released Gย Darrell Greeneย from the unit.
The Packers’ practice squad now consists of:
- OLB Reggie Gilbert
- CB Donatello Brown
- LB Derrick Mathews
- OL Kofi Amichia
- WR DeAngelo Yancey
- DE Izaah Lunsford
- WR Michael Clark
- QBย Jerod Evans
- WR Max McCaffrey
- FBย Joe Kerridge
Kerridge, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan back in May of last year. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and he had a brief stint on Washington’s practice squad before the Packers signed him during the season.
Kerridge returned to the Packers on an exclusive rights contract during the offseason but was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
During his college career, Kerridge ran for 121 yards on 18 carries (6.7 YPC) to go along with 17 receptions for 123 yards receiving and one total touchdown.
In 2016, Kerridge appeared in eight games for the Packers and received one carry for no yards rushing.
