The Green Bay Packers have signed first-round WR Matthew Golden to a rookie contract, the team announced Monday.
They have just one more pick to go to wrap up signing their 2025 draft class.

Golden committed to Texas in December 2023 as a four-star transfer ranked No. 9 for receivers in the portal. He spent the entire 2024 season with the Longhorns.
The Packers used the No. 23 overall pick in round one on Golden. He’s projected to sign a four-year, $17,551,274 contract that includes a $9,404,563 signing bonus. The contract includes a fifth-year option for the team to pick up in 2028.
In his collegiate career, Golden appeared in 36 games over three seasons at Houston and Texas and recorded 134 receptions for 1,975 yards and 22 touchdowns.
