Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports that the Packers have signed rookie RB Brandon Ross to a contract on Tuesday.
The Packers aren’t a bad landing spot for Ross, considering that their No. 3 job is up for grabs this summer.
Ross wound up going undrafted our of Maryland, but signed on with the Vikings just a few days after the 2016 draft completed. Unfortunately, Rossย Ross was placed on waivers just a few weeks later to make room for DT Travis Raciti.
During his four-year college career at Maryland, Ross ran for 2,543 yards on 486 carries (5.2 YPC) to go along with 10 touchdowns. He also contributed 401 yards receiving on 19 receptions and two touchdowns.
