Packers Sign Third-Round TE Jace Sternberger

The Packers signed third-round TE Jace Sternberger to a four-year rookie contract, per agent Mike McCartney.

Sternberger, 22, was the No. 75 overall pick by the Lions out of Texas A&M. He began his college career at Kansas before transferring to Texas A&M for the 2018 season. He was a Consensus All-America last year.

He’s projected to receive a four-year, $3,526,524 rookie contract including a $1,006,524 signing bonus.

Lance Zierlein compares Sternberger to TE Jacob Tamme.

During his college career, Sternberger recorded 49 receptions for 837 yards receiving (17.1 YPC) and 10 touchdowns.
