Field Yates reports that theย Packers are signing former Chargers punter Drew Kaser to a contract on Saturday.
This is an interestingย move for the Packers, who used a fifth-round pick on J.K. Scott during the offseason. It’s possible that Scott is dealing with an injury and Green Bay needs someone to fill in for him.
Kaser, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Chargers back in 2016. He played over to years for the Chargers before he was placed on waivers last month.
In 2018, Kaser has appeared in four games for the Chargers and totaled 515 punt yards on 13 attempts (39.61 YPA) and one touchback.
