The Green Bay Packers may be 10-0 but yesterday’s game was a bit concerning as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers not only held tough but they wound up leaving causing some potentially serious injuries for the Packers. Wide Receiver Greg Jennings injured his leg on a play right before halftime and wasn’t able to effectively contribute in the second-half of Sunday’s game.
“The shin is 100 percent A-OK. It’s actually not the shin. I don’t want to get into details. But I’m fine,” Jennings said, per Jason Wilde.
There has been a lot of hype building for the Packers game against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving day and they’re certainly going to need Jennings to offset the Lions tough front-four. Jennings will only have a few days to be ready for Thursday game so this is a situation worth monitoring if you’re counting on Jennings in your fantasy league or have interest in the outcome of the game.
